Celem pracy jest zaprezentowanie znaczenia analizy finansowej, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem płynności finansowej, w badaniu kondycji finansowej przedsiębiorstwa. W pracy przedstawiono istotę oraz rodzaje analizy finansowej. Następnie omówione zostały treść i układ podstawowych sprawozdań finansowych oraz istota i znaczenie płynności finansowej. Skupiono się na istocie analizy wskaźnikowej, a w szczególności na wskaźniku płynności oraz metodach badania tego wskaźnika w ujęciu statycznym oraz dynamicznym. W bieżącej działalności przedsiębiorstwa istotne znaczenie ma wielkość kapitału obrotowego. Została przedstawiona istota, poziomy, metody badania oraz strategie zarządzania kapitałem obrotowym. Dokonano wstępnej analizy bilansu opisanej Spółki „Efekt” S.A. oraz wstępnej analizy rachunku zysków i strat. Zostały zbadane wskaźniki płynności w aspekcie krótkoterminowej i długoterminowej płynności finansowej. Analiza wskaźnikowa została rozszerzona o wskaźniki rentowności i zadłużenia. Po przeprowadzeniu analizy Spółki „Efekt” S.A. w latach 2007 - 2011 można dojść do wniosku, że firma jest w nienajgorszej kondycji finansowej. Podstawą do tej oceny jest fakt, że jest finansowana w 76 % kapitałem własnym, a zatem nie jest uzależniona od obcych źródeł finansowania. Przeprowadzona analiza płynności wykazała, że firma stosuje raczej agresywną politykę zarządzania kapitałem obrotowym i mogła mieć problem z terminowym regulowaniem zobowiązań w latach 2009-2010. Spółka osiąga zysk ze wszystkich segmentów działalności, a jej rentowność ma tendencję wzrostową, chociaż w niewielkim stopniu wykorzystuje efekt dźwigni finansowej.
The aim of the thesis is to present the meaning of financial analysis, with a particular attention paid to the financial liquidity, when analyzing the condition of a given company. In this work the essence of financial analysis was introduced as well as the kinds of financial analysis. A content and a composition of basic financial reports was discussed and then the meaning of financial liquidity was described. It was focused on the essence of a ratio analysis and in particular on liquidity ratios as well as other methods of research of this ratio in static and dynamic perspective. A volume of operating capital is important in current activities of a company. An essence and levels, a method of research as well as strategies of management of operating capital were later studied. A preliminary analysis of a balance sheet a profit and loss statement of the “Efekt” j.s.c. was discussed and liquidity ratios were examined in a short – term and long – term perspective. Ratio analysis was extended to profitability indexes and debt indexes. In conclusion, the analysis of the “Efekt” j.s.c. in years 2007 – 2011 has shown, that the company is not in a bad financial situation. This opinion is based on the fact, that the company is financed in 76% by owner’s equity, and therefore the company is independent from foreign funding sources. Analysis of liquidity demonstrates that the company is using rather aggressive management of working capital and could have had problem with settling liabilities in years 2009 – 2010. Company is profitable in all areas of its activities with increasing tendency though it does not use the effect of financial leverage.
