I want to prove that factoring is a good solution for small and medium-sized
enterprises. A young, small companies do not have a reputation in the market and what is
linked to that, they can not count on special treatment by suppliers. For such companies often
the best option for a quick injection of cash is a working capital credit, leasing in relation to
the acquisition of machinery, equipment or means of transport, or factoring. However, to
obtain credit for a short-acting company can be a problem. But, I would like to focus on
factoring. An entrepreneur can immediately get almost all of the claims but it is bounded with
higher cost. At this point, the entrepreneur becomes the question whether it is worth. While
writing this paper, I verified this in every angle. SWOT analysis is well suited to research
position of company in the market. This analysis can be applied at the level of management
throughout the enterprise, as well as various areas such as: marketing, production, purchasing, finance, employment. As you can see, entrepreneur faces many challenges and areas for
continuous monitoring. In this paper, I would like to take a look at one of the sources of financing for small and medium-sized enterprises. This paper consists of four chapters. The individual chapters present: in the first one, the theoretical chapter, I presented a definition and a process for factoring, what are its forms. I described its characteristic and utilized its functions. Chapter two contains a comparison whether factoring is a better tool than the working capital credit. It introduces all advantages and disadvantages of using factoring and working capital credit: speed of financing, costs et cetera. In chapter three I described popularity of factoring in Poland and in the world. The fourth chapter concerns the best acting factors on the Polish market and which of them has more to offer. |
