Silny związek wystąpił pomiędzy neurotycznością, ekstrawersją i sumiennością, a ogólnym wypaleniem szkolnym badanych uczniów. Uczniowie zaangażowani w naukę szkolną uzyskali najwyższe wyniki w ekstrawersji i sumienności, a zarazem najniższe wskaźniki w neurotyczności. Przeciwnie badani o wysokim stopniu wypalenia uzyskali wysokie wyniki w sześciu czynnikach tworzących wymiar neurotyczności. Tę grupę charakteryzował również najniższy poziom sumienności, ekstrawersji i ogólnego zaangażowaniu w aktywność szkolną.
School burnout is an issue which has been recently explored in a psychology. Implemented a research program concerned the personality determinants of burnout in schools. The study included 162 students of high schools. Formulated hypotheses were tested using the Questionnaire NEO-PI-R, MBI-U and UWES-U together with the Personal Sheet design. The obtained results enabled for verification and assumptions. Students with a high degree of burnout obtained statistically different results from students with low burnout. There is a strong relationship between neuroticism, extraversion and conscientiousness, and overall burning school students surveyed. It turned out that high neuroticism index, low conscientiousness and extraversion affect school burnout. In addition, the young people with different type of burnout was characterized by a different configuration of personality factors included in the model of the Big Five. The students having involved in a school activity achieved the highest results in extraversion together with scrupulousness and the weakest indexes in neuroticism. On the contrary, all the examined had a high level of school burnout and achieved extremely high scores in six factors, creating a neuroethics sphere. That group seemed to be the least scrupulous, extraverted and involved in the total school activity.
