dc.description.abstract	In the article the author presents the main problems in the implementation of the evaluation of the employees’ competencies in the companies. The disadvantages of the “traditional” approach to the job evaluation have been presented. The topics of the evaluation of employees’ competencies and the differences in comparison to the “traditional” approach to the job evaluation have been described.
