There are many material and non-material techniques of employee’s motivation that have an impact on the increase of their efficiency, and what is more, the efficiency of the whole enterprise. It can be said that the use of material’s instruments affect more the increase of the employee’s motivation than the use of the non-material tools.
The research, which was designed to confirm the hypothesis, was conducted in December 2012 in five biggest MAWA trading companies in/which are located in Dębica, Krakow, Tarnów and Rzeszów. Thirty-six employees were asked to take part in the research/to respond to the questions. The technique that was used for the research was to do a survey and the questionnaire’s survey was the research tool. The research help me to draw some important conclusions. The main point is that the material instruments have greater impact on employee’s motivation than non-material instruments.
The analyzed company uses both material and non-material motivators but, with the significant predominance of the former. Among the elements of the system of motivation we can distinguish: the bonus system, promotion, an opportunity to develop, the ability to buy in a manufacturer’s retail store with a significant discount and integration meetings.
