Patients' Self -Concept and Weight Reduction : Use of Covert Sensitization

Abstrakt

In general, weight loss was associated with increased, positive self-concept over the duration of the program, and those subjects who were relatively high in self-concept at the beginning of the program tended to lose a greater percentage of their excess weight. The TSCS sub-score (which stands out as a significant predictor of successful weight loss) is the behavior component of the physical self score.
