Etyczne aspekty badań z udziałem dzieci i młodzieży

Abstract

Artykuł przedstawia kompleksową analizę etycznych aspektów prowadzenia badań naukowych z udziałem dzieci i młodzieży. Ze względu na szczególną wrażliwość tej grupy uczestników, badania wymagają ścisłego przestrzegania zasad ochrony praw i dobrostanu dziecka. Omówiono ramy prawne, w tym konwencję o prawach dziecka, deklarację Helsińską oraz krajowe regulacje dotyczące zgody, poufności i bezpieczeństwa uczestników. Szczególną uwagę poświęcono procedurom uzyskiwania świadomej zgody rodziców i assentu dziecka, minimalizowaniu ryzyka fizycznego i psychicznego, ochronie danych osobowych oraz dostosowaniu metod badawczych do wieku i rozwoju poznawczego uczestników.The article provides a comprehensive analysis of the ethical aspects of conducting scientific research involving children and adolescents. Due to the particular vulnerability of this group, such studies require strict adherence to principles protecting the rights and well-being of participants. The paper discusses legal frameworks, including the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, the Declaration of Helsinki, and national regulations concerning consent, confidentiality, and participant safety. Special attention is given to procedures for obtaining parental consent and child assent, minimizing physical and psychological risks, protecting personal data, and adapting research methods to the developmental stage and cognitive abilities of participants.
