Celem pracy było udzielenie odpowiedzi na pytania: Czy istnieje związek między agresją
a rozbieżnościami w strukturze Ja (Ja realnym a idealnym/powinnościowym) oraz
samooceną? Przyjęto hipotezy zakładające, że wyższa agresja współwystępuje z większymi rozbieżnościami w strukturze Ja oraz z niższą samooceną. Do oceny poziomu agresji ogólnej oraz czterech jej form (agresji werbalnej, agresji fizycznej, gniewu, wrogości) użyto Kwestionariusza Psychologicznego-A A. Bussa i M. Peery’ego, w polskiej wersji opracowanej przez Z. Uchnasta (Tucholska, 1988). Obraz siebie, a dokładniej rozbieżności w strukturze Ja mierzono za pomocą czynnika D, uzyskanego w Teście Przymiotników ACL H. B. Gougha i A. B. Heilbruna (Matczak, 1999). Natomiast do pomiaru samooceny wykorzystano Skalę Samooceny SES (Self-Estem Scale) M. Rosenberga w polskiej adaptacji I. Dzwonkowskiej, K. Lachowicz-Tabaczek i M. Łaguny (Dzwonkowska, Lachowicz-Tabaczek, Łaguna, 2008). Osobami badanymi była młodzież w wieku 18-20 lat (120 kobiet i 120 mężczyzn) uczęszczająca do klas przedmaturalnych (3 klasa Technikum) oraz maturalnych (3 klasa Liceum Ogólnokształcącego i 4 klasa Technikum). Przyjęte hipotezy potwierdziły się, jednak są prawidłowe tylko dla grupy kobiet. Agresja ogólna, gniew i wrogość ujemnie korelują z poziomem samooceny, natomiast dodatnia jest ich korelacja z rozbieżnościami w strukturze Ja.
The main aim of this thesis is answer to the question: Is it a correlation between agression, discrepancy in self-structure and self-esteem? It took the hypothesize that a highter level of agression occur with bigger discrepancy in self-structure and lower level of self-esteem as per took foundation. To evaluate the level of agression and the four factor (verbal agression, physical agresssion, anger and hostility )of it used The Aggression Questionnaire by A. Buss i M. Peery, adapted in polish version by Z. Uchnast. To probe the self-concept, especially the discrepancy in self-structure used The Adjective Check List ACL by H. B. Gough i A. B. Heilbrun. To probe the general level of self-esteem used The Self Esteem Scale by M. Rosenberg – polish adaptation by I. Dzwonkowska, K. Lachowicz-Tabaczek and M. Łaguna. The youth of 18 to 19 years old was a research people (120 women and 120 men). They attended to the ahead of- and final year of secondary school. The took hypothesize was confirmed, but only for women. There is a downside correlation of self-esteem and general level of agression, anger and hostility. There is the positive correlation of discrepancy in selfstructure and general level of agression, anger and hostility.
