The position of women in the labour market remains a significant societal issue, as gender disparities persist despite legislative guarantees of equality. The aim of this paper is to analyse differences in the treatment of women in the labour market and to examine the level of work-related stress among employees in the context of gender. The theoretical part highlights ongoing inequalities in pay, employment opportunities, and social support, which are confirmed by both domestic and international studies. The empirical part is based on quantitative research conducted using the standardized Stress Profile battery on a sample of 80 administrative employees, with an equal representation of men and women.en_US
