| dc.description.abstract | Koherencja, zgodnie z koncepcją Antonovsky’ego, to globalna orientacja człowieka, w której występuje wewnętrzna spójność, postrzeganie siebie i świata w sposób uporządkowany. Analiza korelacji wykazała istotny, pozytywny związek pomiędzy poczuciem koherencji a sensem życia. | pl |
| dc.description.abstract | According to Antonovsky’s concept, coherence refers to a person’s overall orientation, characterised by internal consistency and a structured perception of oneself and the world. The individual has a profound, enduring and dynamic sense of certainty that all internal and external stimuli encountered throughout life are structured, predictable and explainable. According to Frankl, meaning is unique and exceptional, as only the individual themselves can and must realise it. Meaning depends on the individual and may change. There is no need to seek some abstract meaning, as every person has their own unique calling, the purpose of which is to fulfil a specific task. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between the level of sense of coherence and the level of sense of meaning in life among secondary school pupils. The study was conducted on a group of 101 students. Purpose of Life Test (PIL), Orientation to Life Questionnaire (SOC-29) and a self-designed questionnaire were used. Correlation analysis revealed a significant, positive relationship between the sense of coherence and the meaning of life. Statistically significant differences were also found between the groups in terms of the sense of coherence. This means that those who had a trusted person generally scored higher on the sense of coherence scale than those who did not have a trusted person or were unsure about this. The results obtained may serve as a basis for further research. | en |
