Attachment styles play an important role in the way relationships are formed, closeness is experienced, and partners function within marriage. The aim of this study was to analyze the relationship between attachment styles and the level of sexual satisfaction and life satisfaction in marriage. The study was conducted using the case study method with the participation of five married couples aged 30–45 years. The research employed the Attachment Styles Questionnaire (KSP), the Sexual Satisfaction Questionnaire (KSS), the Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS), a semi-structured interview, the “Relationship Tree” exercise, a genogram, and “Intimate Conversations” cards. The applied tools enabled the analysis of family-of-origin experiences, ways of experiencing closeness and sexuality, as well as coping with conflicts. The obtained results indicate that individuals representing a secure attachment style more often achieved higher levels of life satisfaction and moderate or high levels of sexual satisfaction. In contrast, individuals presenting anxious-ambivalent and avoidant attachment styles more frequently demonstrated difficulties in emotional closeness, communication, and lower levels of well-being.
