| dc.description.abstract | Niniejsza praca o charakterze jakościowym stanowi analizę poziomu stresu, preferowanych stylów radzenia sobie w sytuacjach stresowych oraz poziomu inteligencji emocjonalnej matek dzieci z zespołem Downa. Badaniem objęto pięć kobiet w wieku od 39 do 53 lat. Zastosowano metodę studium przypadku z wykorzystaniem następujących narzędzi psychologicznych: Kwestionariusz Poczucia Stresu (KPS), Kwestionariusz Radzenia Sobie w Sytuacjach Stresowych (CISS) oraz Kwestionariusz Inteligencji Emocjonalnej (INTE). Dodatkowo przeprowadzono częściowo ustrukturyzowane wywiady z badanymi kobietami. | pl |
| dc.description.abstract | This qualitative study presents an analysis of stress levels, preferred coping styles in stressful situations, and emotional intelligence among mothers of children with Down syndrome. The study included five women aged 39 to 53. A case study method was applied, using the following psychological instruments: the Perceived Stress Questionnaire (KPS), the Coping Inventory for Stressful Situations (CISS), and the Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire (INTE). Additionally, semi-structured interviews were conducted with the participating women. The results indicate that stress levels among the participants varied and ranged from low to moderate. The findings also revealed differences in coping styles and emotional intelligence levels among the participants. The collected data contribute to a better understanding of the everyday challenges faced by mothers raising a child with Down syndrome, as well as individual differences in their functioning. The results may serve as a starting point for further research in this area. | en |
