| dc.description.abstract | Tematyka pracy obejmuje zagadnienia dotyczące współczesnego terroryzmu, a jej celem jest wykazanie, iż terroryzm stanowi obecnie jedno z największych zagrożeń dla stabilnego i bezpiecznego bytu społeczeństw. Praca składa się z trzech rozdziałów. W pierwszym z nich przedstawiono ogólne zagadnienia dotyczące terroryzmu, a w tym jego definicje, ewolucję na przestrzeni stuleci oraz współczesne uwarunkowania i przejawy. Rozdział drugi zawiera opisy wybranych, najtragiczniejszych w skutkach zamachów ostatnich lat, natomiast w rozdziale trzecim zaprezentowano metody prewencji i zwalczania terroryzmu oraz międzynarodowe akty prawne regulujące zasady i sposoby walki z tym zjawiskiem. Realizując cel pracy zgłębiono liczne publikacje prezentujące uwarunkowania, mechanizmy i ewolucję terroryzmu, jak również wykorzystano przykłady najtragiczniejszych w skutkach aktów terroru. Z dokonanych analiz wynika, że ze względu na ewolucję organizacji terrorystycznych, ich dostęp do najnowocześniejszych technologii jak i wielką skalę mediatyzacji aktów przemocy, omawiane zjawisko przybiera na sile i jest coraz trudniejsze do zwalczenia. | pl |
| dc.description.abstract | The subject of my bachelor thesis are the issues concerning contemporary terrorism, and its aim is to show that terrorism is presently one of the biggest threats to stable and safe existence of nations. The thesis consists of three chapters. The first one presents general issues regarding terrorism, including its definition, evolution throughout the centuries, and its contemporary conditions and symptoms. Chapter two includes the description of selected, most tragic terrorist attacks of the recent years, whereas the third chapter presents the methods of preventing and combating terrorism as well as the international legal regulations with regard to the rules and means of combating this phenomenon. When fulfilling the aim of the thesis there have been studied numerous publications presenting the conditions, mechanisms and evolution of terrorism and there have been described the terrorist attacks which have had the most tragic effects. Based on the carried out analyses it can be concluded that due to the evolution of terrorist organizations, their access to the most cutting-edge technology as well as the increasing scale of presenting terrorist acts in media, the phenomenon in question is becoming more and more powerful, and thus increasingly difficult to combat. | pl |
