The topic of the study was the problem of addiction and sleep quality in people using medical marijuana. The aim was to assess the relationship between the duration and method of using preparations containing medical marijuana and the level of addiction, as well as its impact on sleep quality. Research information was obtained using the CUDIT – T and PSQI questionnaires and applied to statistical tools (the Kolmogorov – Smirnov test and Pearson correlation (r)). As a result, a relationship was shown between more frequent marijuana use and the risk of addiction (r = 0.72, p<0.05) as well as the duration of its use on sleep quality (r = 0.65, p<0.05). It should be mentioned that a connection was proven between marijuana addiction and sleep (r = 0.59, p<0.05) as well as its use in the context of the presence of addiction symptoms (19.8% addicted). It follows that the duration and frequency of medical marijuana use were significantly associated with the level of addiction and its users' sleep quality.
