Niniejsza praca magisterska bada zależność między duchowym wykorzenieniem a poczuciem sensu życia w pokoleniu milenialsów (w wieku 30–45 lat) w obliczu współczesnych przemian społecznych i laicyzacji.
This master's thesis examines the relationship between spiritual uprooting and the sense of purpose in life among the millennial generation (aged 30–45) facing contemporary social changes and secularization. The empirical study was conducted on a sample of 62 participants using traditional survey questionnaire methods: the Spiritual Sphere Questionnaire (KSD) and the Purpose in Life (PIL) test. Statistical analyses revealed significant, moderate correlations between the variables, proving that lower spiritual uprooting fosters a higher sense of purpose in life. The state of the spiritual sphere (self-awareness) and the lack of a relationship with a Higher Power emerged as the strongest predictors of life purpose. Furthermore, participants with children demonstrated a significantly higher sense of purpose, goals, and life affirmation than childless individuals. Experiencing a recent life crisis drastically reduced the participants' sense of purpose but did not disrupt their stable spiritual structures. Interestingly, non-religious and non-spiritual individuals showed identical levels of life purpose as religious ones, confirming millennials' capacity to construct meaning through horizontal, secular sources. en
