Badania przeprowadzono w grupie pracowników korporacyjnych z wykorzystaniem standaryzowanych narzędzi psychometrycznych – Skali Lęku Stanu i Cechy (STAI) oraz Kwestionariusza Radzenia Sobie w Sytuacjach Stresowych (CISS) – uzupełnionych autorską ankietą kwestionariuszową dotyczącą warunków pracy i subiektywnej oceny źródeł stresu.
The modern corporate environment is characterised by high professional demands, which can contribute to increased stress and the occurrence of anxiety symptoms among employees. The aim of this study was to analyse the level of anxiety and the frequency of perceived stress among corporate employees, to identify the main sources of psychological strain, and to determine the predominant strategies for coping with stress. The study was conducted among a group of corporate employees using standardised psychometric tools – the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI) and the Coping in Stressful Situations Questionnaire (CISS) – supplemented by an original questionnaire concerning working conditions and a subjective assessment of sources of stress. Analysis of the results showed that the most frequently cited stressor was an excessive workload, reported by 80% of respondents. A negative atmosphere in the workplace and inadequate pay also played a significant role. The results indicate that the level of perceived anxiety and stress is largely determined by organisational factors related to working conditions. The findings highlight the need to implement psychological support programmes and measures aimed at improving work organisation and employee well-being.en
