Do pomiaru wykorzystano Test Sensu Życia (Purpose in Life Test  - PIL) opracowany przez Crumbaugha i Maholicka, zmodyfikowaną wersję skali The Collett-Lester Fear of Death Scale (CL-FODS) oraz założenia Skali Centralności Religijności (Centrality of Religiosity Scale-CRS) opracowanej przez Hubera.
The aim of this study was to examine the level of religiosity, meaning in life, and death anxiety among older adults, as well as to determine the relationships between these variables. The study had a qualitative design and included a semi-structured interview, observation and the use of diagnostic methods such as psychological tests. Five individuals aged between 65 to 70 participated in the study, including four women and one man. The following instruments were used: The Purpose in Life Test (PIL) developed by Crumbaugh and Maholick, a modified version of the Collett-Lester Fear of Death Scale (CL-FODS) and the assumptions of the Centrality Scale (CRS) developed by Huber. The obtained results may suggest that both religiosity and meaning in life play an important role in the lives of older adults. Greater variability was observed around death anxiety. In most participants a lower level of anxiety concerned their own death, while stronger concerns were related to the process of dying and the death of loved ones. These findings may suggest that interpersonal relationship and emotional attachment play an important role in experiencing existential anxiety. In the context of future research, it seems justified to expand the study group to include a larger number of participants, which would allow for obtaining more representative result and broader possibilities for generalising the findings.en
