Praca podejmuje problem związku pomiędzy odczuwanym stresem a poziomem wypalenia zawodowego wśród pracowników Domów Pomocy Społecznej.
The thesis addresses the relationship between perceived stress and the level of job burnout among employees of Residential Care Homes. The main assumption of the thesis is to show that care and helping work, despite its social importance and its potential to provide a sense of meaning, is also associated with psychological, emotional, and organizational burdens that may coexist with job burnout. The study was conducted among 106 employees of Residential Care Homes, using the Perceived Stress Questionnaire and the LBQ questionnaire for measuring job burnout. The analysis of the results includes a description of the studied variables, an assessment of the normality of distribution, and an examination of the strength and direction of the relationship between perceived stress and job burnout and its dimensions. The obtained results indicate a positive and statistically significant relationship between perceived stress and the overall level of job burnout. Perceived stress is also significantly related to all analyzed dimensions of burnout, with the strongest relationship occurring with psychophysical exhaustion. The conclusions indicate the need to strengthen the well-being of Residential Care Home employees, develop team support, and implement preventive measures aimed at reducing the risk of job burnout.
