dc.description.abstractW pracy zostało omówione funkcjonowanie tradycyjnych banków komercyjnych oraz pojęcie kredytu. Następnie uwagę skupiono na powstaniu ruchu mikrofinansowego i funkcjonowaniu pierwszej instytucji mikrofinansowej – Grameen Banku. Zdefiniowany został termin mikrokredytu, przeanalizowana istota mikrofinansowania oraz jej skutki działania. Badaniom podlegał rynek mikrofinansów na świecie, dodatkowo przeprowadzono analizę działalności największej kenijskiej organizacji mikrofinansowej. Zakres czasowy pracy to lata 1976-2013. Rezultaty pomagają w zrozumieniu skuteczności mikrokredytu jako narzędzia zwalczającego ubóstwo.pl
dc.description.abstractThis paper discussed the functioning of traditional commercial banks and terms of a loan. Next, attention is focused on the creation and operation of microfinance movement and the first microfinance institution - Grameen Bank. A term of microcredit and microfinance was defined and then their effects were examined . The research deals with microfinance market in the world, in addition, the analysis covers activities of most Kenyan microfinance organization. The analysis covers the period from 1976 to 2013. The results help in understanding the effectiveness of micro-credit as a tool to overcoming poverty.pl
