W celu operacjonalizacji kluczowych zmiennych psychologicznych wykorzystano standaryzowane narzędzia psychometryczne o potwierdzonej rzetelności i trafności: Inwentarz Pięciu Czynników NEO-FFI, Kwestionariusz Radzenia Sobie w Sytuacjach Stresowych (CISS) oraz Kwestionariusz Poczucia Stresu.
The thesis concerns the analysis of the relationship between personality traits and ways of coping with stress among teachers co-organizing the educational process. The aim of the study was to determine how personality traits influence the choice of stress coping strategies in the professional environment. The study involved six educators working in primary schools located in one of the municipalities of the Łódź Voivodeship. A qualitative research method was applied, including interviews and observation of the participants. In order to operationalize the key psychological variables, standardized psychometric tools with confirmed reliability and validity were used: the NEO Five-Factor Inventory (NEO-FFI), the Coping Inventory for Stressful Situations (CISS), and the Perceived Stress Questionnaire. The analysis of the results demonstrated that the main source of stress in the work of the examined teachers was the diverse needs of students, which require high interpersonal competencies and strong adaptive abilities. The findings indicate that higher levels of agreeableness and conscientiousness favor task-oriented coping strategies, whereas higher neuroticism is more frequently associated with emotion-oriented and avoidance-oriented coping strategies.
