Badaniem objęto 80 rodziców dzieci uczęszczających do klas I–III szkoły podstawowej.
The present thesis consists of both theoretical and empirical sections. The aim of the study was to investigate the relationship between parental stress, state anxiety, trait anxiety, and parents’ perceived risk of digital addiction in early school-age children. The study involved 80 parents of children attending grades 1–3 of primary school. The research employed the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS-10), the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI), and an author-designed Mini Questionnaire for Parents assessing the perceived risk of digital addiction in children. Statistical analyses were conducted using Pearson’s correlation coefficient and multiple linear regression. The results revealed no statistically significant relationships between parental stress or state anxiety and the perceived risk of digital addiction in children. However, a significant positive relationship was found between trait anxiety and the perceived risk of digital addiction. Furthermore, the regression analysis did not confirm that stress and anxiety jointly constituted significant predictors of the perceived risk of digital addiction. The findings suggest that stable personality characteristics of parents, particularly trait anxiety, may play a more important role in the assessment of digital-related risks in children than temporary emotional states such as stress or state anxiety.
