The subject of this dissertation is the analysis of occupational stress, psychological resilience, and coping strategies among therapists working with children and adolescents affected by rare genetic disorders. The specific nature of working with this group of patients involves a high level of responsibility, emotional engagement, and the necessity to support both patients and their families, which may contribute to the experience of occupational stress. The aim of the study was to determine the level of occupational stress, psychological resilience, and preferred coping strategies, as well as to examine the relationships between these variables with regard to the age, length of service, and professional advancement of 100 therapists. The findings indicate that therapists working with patients affected by rare genetic disorders experience a moderate level of occupational stress. Individual psychological resources, particularly psychological resilience, play a significant role in coping with occupational stress. The results also demonstrate that therapists with higher levels of resilience are more likely to employ task-oriented coping strategies when dealing with stressful situations. Furthermore, the analyses revealed that socio-demographic and occupational factors, including age, work experience, and professional advancement, do not significantly differentiate the level of perceived stress, psychological resilience, or preferred coping strategies. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening psychological resources and promoting effective coping mechanisms among therapists working with children and adolescents affected by rare genetic disorders.en
