The aim of this study was to examine how mindfulness training is related to the level of parental stress, emotion regulation, and satisfaction with the relationship with the child among single mothers raising school‑aged children. The research was conducted as four case studies using in‑depth interviews and standardized psychological instruments (PSI‑4‑SF, SWLS, Parental Attitude Scale, Mini‑COPE). The results indicated a low level of parental stress, a high level of life satisfaction, and the dominance of adaptive coping strategies in all mothers who practiced mindfulness. Qualitative narrative analysis showed that mindfulness training fosters greater self‑awareness, reduces emotional reactivity, and strengthens an attitude of acceptance towards oneself and the child. The participants also emphasized an improvement in the quality of their relationships with their children, a stronger sense of closeness and safety, and greater respect for the child’s autonomy. The findings suggest that mindfulness training may serve as an important resource in coping with parental burdens and constitute a valuable component of psychological support programmes for parents.
