| dc.description.abstract | Przedmiotem rozważań w niniejszej pracy jest zjawisko bezrobocia. Bezrobocie jest jednym z najtrudniejszych problemów współczesnego rynku pracy, bowiem wywiera wpływ nie tylko na jednostkę ale na całe społeczeństwo. Niesie ze sobą skutki finansowe, społeczne, jak również socjologiczne i psychologiczne. Trudno jest jednak jednoznacznie zdefiniować to zjawisko ze względu na jego złożoność i wieloaspektowość. Celem niniejszej pracy jest przedstawienie problemu bezrobocia w powiecie gorlickim w latach 2007 – 2011 oraz ocena działalności Powiatowego Urzędu Pracy w Gorlicach na rzecz przeciwdziałania i zapobiegania temu zjawisku. Autorka będzie starała się zweryfikować hipotezę, iż bezrobocie na lokalnym rynku pracy częściej dotyka kobiet niż mężczyzn. Powiat gorlicki charakteryzuje się jednym z najwyższych wskaźników bezrobocia w województwie małopolskim. Lokalni przedsiębiorcy kierują oferty pracy głównie do mężczyzn, co wynika z przemysłowego charakteru regionu. Dane z lat 2007 – 2011 wskazują na wyraźną przewagę bezrobotnych kobiet nad mężczyznami. Największy problem ze znalezieniem zatrudnienia mają kobiety, które nie posiadają stażu pracy a także bezrobotne pozostające bez pracy przez okres dłuższy niż 24 miesiące. Ponadto bezrobotne kobiety są lepiej wykształcone niż mężczyźni, zaś najwięcej bezrobotnych kobiet mieści się w przedziale wiekowym 25 – 34 lata. W szczególnej sytuacji na rynku pracy znajdują się kobiety, które nie podjęły zatrudnienia po urodzeniu dziecka. | pl |
| dc.description.abstract | The subject matter of this thesis is the phenomenon of unemployment. Unemployment is one of the most difficult problems of the contemporary job market as it influences not only an individual but also the whole society. It carries financial, social as well as sociological and psychological consequences. It is difficult unequivocally to define this phenomenon considering its complexity and all the aspects it involves. The aim of the thesis is to present the problem of unemployment in the county of Gorlice in years 2007-2011 and to assess the activity of the County Employment Office towards counteracting and preventing this phenomenon. The author of the thesis will try to verify the hypothesis that unemployment, on the local job market, concerns more frequently women than men. The county of Gorlice is characterized by the highest unemployment in Małopolska province. The local entrepreneurs address job offers mainly to men, which results from the industrial character of the region. The data from 2007-2011 point to the clear predominance of unemployed women over unemployed men. The biggest problem with finding employment have women who do not have a period of probation or who have been unemployed for more than 24 months. Moreover, unemployed women are better educated than men and the majority of unemployed women are at the age of 25-34. In a special situation on the job market, there are also women who have not taken up a job after giving birth to a child. | pl |
