dc.description.abstractPraca opisuje zagadnienie inteligentnych miast w teorii i w praktyce. Wychodząc od historii koncepcji rozwoju miasta, idea miasta inteligentnego została opisana pod kątem: infrastruktury, technologii, społeczeństwa, specyficznych uwarunkowań przestrzeni miejskiej, samorządu oraz samoświadomości. Po przedstawieniu koncepcji inteligentnego miasta we wszystkich tych aspektach, dokonano podsumowania, konstatując konieczność występowania tej idei w każdym z nich, aby realizacja jej była pełna. Następnie, w celu zobrazowania przedstawionej koncepcji i jej pełniejszego przedstawienia, przytoczono wybrane przykłady realizacji w różnych dziedzinach życia miasta, opisywanej idei w miastach na świecie: Berlinie, Gdańsku, Sopocie i Gdyni, Lille, Londynie, Manchesterze, Paryżu, Singapurze, Szanghaju, Toronto, Walencji, Warszawie i Wiedniu. W trzecim rozdziale przeprowadzono analizę strategii rozwoju polskich miast wojewódzkich pod kątem zastosowania w nich założeń koncepcji inteligentnych miast w całości i wybranych aspektach szczegółowych. W wyniku analizy stwierdzono, że poszczególne założenia idei inteligentnego miasta są implementowane w polskich miastach wojewódzkich, a w części z nich koncepcja ta wdrażana jest w całości.pl
dc.description.abstractThe thesis describes the issue of the Smart Cities (also known as Knowledge Cities) in theory and praxis. Beginning with the history of the conceptions of urban development, the idea of a Smart City has been described in aspects of: infrastructure, technology, society, specific urban space conditions, self-government and self-consciousness. After that, the recapitulation has been done, remarking the need of implementation of the idea in all of the given fields to make it fully valuable. Then, to give a more complex picture of the conception, there has been chosen examples given about the implementation the idea in the cities of the world: Berlin, Gdańsk, Sopot, Gdynia, Lille, London, Manchester, Paris, Singapore, Shanghai, Toronto, Valencia, Vienna, and Warsaw. In the third chapter, there has been done the analysis of the Polish province capital cities regarding the implementation of the whole Smart City idea and the specified parts of it in them. In result of the analysis, there has been observed, that the specified parts of the idea had been implemented in most of the analysed strategies and that in some of them the whole idea had been implemented.pl
