| dc.description.abstract | Praca dotyczy problematyki wypalenia rodzicielskiego u matek dzieci z ADHD w kontekście obciążeń opiekuńczo-wychowawczych, oddziaływań terapeutycznych dziecka oraz wsparcia psychologicznego i społecznego udzielanego matce. | pl |
| dc.description.abstract | The present study concerns the issue of parental burnout among mothers of children with ADHD in the context of caregiving and educational burdens, therapeutic interventions addressed to the child, and psychological and social support provided to the mother. The research was conducted using a qualitative-quantitative case study approach among mothers of children diagnosed with ADHD and participating in specialist therapy. The study employed an in-depth individual interview as well as psychometric tools: STAI, COPE, WHO-5, the Plopa Parental Attitudes Scale, and DIVA-5. The findings indicate that mothers of children with ADHD often function under conditions of chronic stress, emotional and organizational overload, and elevated anxiety levels. Difficult child behaviors, the need for constant behavioral supervision, and limited opportunities for psychological recovery were identified as particularly significant factors affecting the mothers’ mental well-being. At the same time, the study demonstrated that social support, psychological assistance, and effective therapeutic interventions for the child may reduce the level of maternal burden and serve as protective factors against the development of parental burnout. | en |
