dc.description.abstractThe goal of the thesis is to gain knowledge and experience with knowledge management and work group management tools. The author finds how vital these issues are in any collaborative activity. He makes a research of tools that are helpful in managing collaborative work and knowledge sharing. The plenitude of mature open source solutions are presented. Some of presented solutions are proprietary software tools, but they are widely accessible because they are rather free of charge. Their advantages and disadvantages and different uses are presented. The author focuses on such ideas as Wiki's and Blogs, explaining their popularity also in business use. The survey is based on literature and Internet sources. The theoretical work is presented in wiki format. This software is launched to present outcomes to friends, to get feedback from them and to expand some parts of it the future.en
