Abstrakt
Having written my thesis was a summarizing up an important and difficult at the same time period of my life. It was a way to set my past in order, verified it and find myself in the present situation. Those six years were for me an enormous school of life. In my work I wanted to present my experiences which had place during my journey through different countries – journey to make a search of my identity. I presented such elements as view of contemporary Polish society, the perception of Polish people abroad, making the attempt to assimilate among other nations, xenophobia and its picture in our country. Every day, each of us is experienced by life in different ways. The fate gives us a chance to learn and it depends from us how much we will take out of it. More open mind and hurt we have, more we learn. Cause finally I had most of existing cultures, nations, races, religions in one place. I was observing their behaviors, reactions, customs, how were their internal interactions in ethnic groups and how different cultures react one towards other.
