| pl |
| dc.description.abstract | The aim of the study was to examine the relationship between temperament traits, the perception of work-related stressors, and the level of perceived stress among preschool teachers. The study was conducted among preschool teachers using standardized psychological tools: the Formal Characteristics of Behaviour – Temperament Inventory (FCZ-KT(R)) and the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS-10). Additionally, an original questionnaire concerning the perception of stress-inducing factors in the work of preschool teachers and a demographic questionnaire collecting sociodemographic and occupational data of the respondents were used. The thesis discusses the concept of temperament, occupational stress, the specific nature of preschool teachers’ work, and stress factors occurring in this profession. The analysis focused on the relationships between individual temperament traits, the level of perceived stress, and the assessment of work-related stressors. The obtained results made it possible to identify temperament characteristics that may be associated with a greater susceptibility to experiencing occupational stress, as well as traits that may have a protective function. The findings indicate that temperament is an important factor differentiating the way preschool teachers respond to the demands and challenges associated with their professional work. | en |
