Analiza wyników wykazała istotne korelacje pomiędzy stylami przywiązania a satysfakcją z relacji. Stwierdzono, że bezpieczny styl przywiązania sprzyja wyższemu poziomowi zadowolenia z relacji, natomiast style pozabezpieczne, tj. lękowo-ambiwalentny i unikowy, korelują z jej niższym poziomem.
The aim of this study was to examine the relationship between attachment styles and relationship satisfaction among individuals involved in marital and non-marital romantic relationships. The study employed the Attachment Styles Questionnaire (KSP), the Couples Satisfaction Index (CSI-32), and an author-developed sociodemographic questionnaire. The sample consisted of 102 individuals involved in romantic relationships. The unit of analysis was an individual in a relationship rather than a couple as a whole. The results revealed significant correlations between attachment styles and relationship satisfaction. A secure attachment style was associated with higher levels of relationship satisfaction, whereas insecure attachment styles, namely anxious-ambivalent and avoidant attachment styles, were associated with lower levels of satisfaction. No significant differences in satisfaction levels were found between individuals in marital and non-marital relationships, nor with regard to participants’ age or relationship duration. The findings highlight the importance of attachment styles for the quality of romantic relationships and provide a basis for further research on factors influencing relationship satisfaction.
