W części poświęconej fintechom wskazano, że nowoczesne platformy oferują użytkownikom natychmiastowe, wygodne i zintegrowane usługi finansowe, obejmujące płatności, wymianę walut, oszczędzanie i inwestowanie.
The thesis presents the evolution of money transfer systems in interbank settlements, from the telegraph and the TELEX system, through the global SWIFT network, to modern fintech solutions such as BLIK, TWINT, and Revolut. It demonstrates that the rapid and secure transmission of payment information is essential to the functioning of the modern financial system, while the final settlement of funds takes place in specialized systems such as TARGET, TARGET2, and T2. Particular attention is devoted to SWIFT, which has become the global standard for communication between financial institutions and the foundation of international payments. The thesis also discusses the main message types used in banking practice and the migration to the ISO 20022 standard, enabling more detailed and automated data processing. It further presents the importance of European payment market integration and the role of common standards in improving transaction efficiency and security. The thesis concludes that payment systems are evolving toward greater automation, faster processing, technological integration, and a stronger focus on the needs of end users.
