Badanie zostanie przeprowadzone w grupie młodych osób z doświadczeniem uchodźstwa z wykorzystaniem Kwestionariusza Radzenia Sobie w Sytuacjach Stresowych CISS oraz Kwestionariusza badania adaptacji społeczno-psychologicznej C. Rogersa i R. Diamonda.
The thesis concerns the relationship between stress coping styles and the level of socio-psychological adaptation among young refugees from Ukraine residing in Poland. The study will be conducted among young people with refugee experience using the Coping Inventory for Stressful Situations (CISS) and the Socio-Psychological Adaptation Questionnaire by C. Rogers and R. Diamond. The conducted research process made it possible to conclude that the socio-psychological adaptation of young refugees from Ukraine is a complex phenomenon that cannot be explained by referring to simple, linear relationships between stress coping styles and the level of adjustment. Therefore, the most important result is not merely the indication of confirmed or unconfirmed hypotheses, but rather the demonstration that psychological functioning in the studied group is heterogeneous and multilayered. The reflection arising from these findings leads to the conclusion that research on refugees requires particular interpretative sensitivity, as their everyday reality does not fit into patterns typical of populations that are socially stable. For this reason, even results inconsistent with expectations prove valuable: they encourage greater caution, enrich the understanding of the studied phenomenon, and make it possible to build a more realistic picture of the psychological costs and resources accompanying the process of adaptation.
