| dc.description.abstract | Zaprezentowana praca badawcza jest ukierunkowana na analizę przebiegu kryzysu utraty w obliczu diagnozy choroby paliatywnej u dziecka. W procesie badawczym wzięło udział pięć mam chorych dzieci objętych opieką hospicjum domowego. Badania miały na celu przyjrzenie się strategiom adaptacyjnym stosowanym przez dorosłych w obliczu śmiertelnej choroby dziecka. Zastosowanie studium indywidualnego przypadku pozwoliło na scharakteryzowanie poziomu funkcjonowania matek posiadających jedno dziecko, którego diagnoza zmieniła wszystko. Studium przypadku pozwoliło szczegółowo przyjrzeć się doświadczeniu mam mierzących się z kryzysem utraty zdrowia a w przyszłości życia dziecka. Zastosowane zostały metody pozwalające określić dominujące cechy temperamentu, poziom lęku cechy i stanu oraz głównych strategii radzenia sobie ze stresem. Na podstawie uzyskanych wyników uzupełnionych o wywiad, obserwację i analizę dokumentacji medycznej dziecka możliwe było ustosunkowanie się do problemów badawczych. Analiza uzyskanych wyników pozwoliła zrozumieć przebieg kryzysu i stosowanych mechanizmów adaptacyjnych u rodziców dziecka chorego. | dc.description.abstract | The presented research work is aimed at analyzing the course of the crisis of loss in the face of a diagnosis of palliative illness in a child. Five mothers of sick children receiving home hospice care participated in the research process. The research aimed to look at the adaptation strategies used by adults in the face of a child's terminal illness. The use of an individual case study made it possible to characterize the level of functioning of mothers with one child whose diagnosis changed everything. The case study allowed a detailed look at the experience of mothers facing the crisis of losing the health and, in the future, the life of their child. Methods were used to determine the dominant temperament traits, trait and state anxiety levels, and the main strategies for coping with stress. On the basis of the results obtained, supplemented by an interview, observation and analysis of the child's medical records, it was possible to address the research problems. The analysis of the obtained results made it possible to understand the course of the crisis and the adaptation mechanisms used in the parents of a sick child. The research served to identify measures to improve the quality and comfort of the parent's life. | en |
