This master's thesis analyzes the relationship between anxiety and fear levels and the occurrence of learning difficulties in early school-age children. The theoretical section discusses the concept and classification of anxiety, the differences between anxiety and fear, the types of anxiety occurring in children, and the biological, psychological, and environmental factors contributing to its development. The symptoms and consequences of persistent anxiety on children's emotional, social, and cognitive functioning are also presented. Subsequent chapters address anxiety and the characteristics of educational difficulties, with particular emphasis on their causes, the importance of early diagnosis, and the impact of anxiety on students' functioning in the school environment. The empirical section presents the research methodology, including the research objectives, problems, hypotheses, and the diagnostic tools used. The analysis of the results focuses on determining the relationship between anxiety levels, neuroticism, and the educational difficulties of the studied children. The obtained results provide a basis for formulating conclusions relevant to pedagogical practice and actions supporting child development.
