Celem pracy była analiza zależności pomiędzy poziomem odczuwanego stresu a stylami radzenia sobie w sytuacjach trudnych u uczniów płci męskiej w technikum.
W badaniu wzięło udział 100 uczniów w wieku 18-19 lat, uczęszczających do technikum. W badaniu zastosowano standaryzowane narzędzia psychometryczne: Kwestionariusz Poczucia Stresu (KPS), Kwestionariusz Radzenia Sobie w Sytuacjach Stresowych (CISS).
The aim of this study was to analyze the relationship between perceived stress levels and coping styles in difficult situations among male students at a technical high school. The theoretical section of the study discusses the concept of stress, its mechanisms, and selected scientific theories explaining the onset and progression of stress, including the significance of life crises. It also presented strategies and styles for coping with stress, as well as factors influencing their selection. Additionally, adolescence, its phases, and the process of identity formation were characterized, which served as the theoretical basis for the research analyses. The empirical part was conducted using a quantitative method. The study involved 100 students aged 18–19 attending a technical high school. Standardized psychometric instruments were used in the study: the Stress Perception Questionnaire (KPS) and the Coping with Stress Situations Questionnaire (CISS). The collected data were subjected to statistical analysis to determine the relationships between the variables under study and to verify the research hypotheses. It was found that there were clear relationships between the level of perceived stress and the stress coping strategies used by male students at the technical high school. However, not all of the hypotheses were confirmed—some results were consistent with, and others diverged from, the data presented in the scientific literature. The findings provide a basis for further consideration of the prevention of emotional difficulties Translated with DeepL.com (free version)
