| dc.description.abstract | Celem pracy jest charakterystyka miejsca MSP w rozwoju lokalnym oraz analiza i ocena znaczenia MSP w rozwoju powiatu nowosądeckiego, jak również diagnoza znaczenia tego sektora w strategicznych dokumentach dotyczących rozwoju lokalnego w analizowanym powiecie. Zastosowano dwie metody badawcze, takie jak analizę dokumentacji i stron internetowych oraz wywiad bezpośredni, nieustrukturyzowany. Wykorzystano pierwotne i wtórne źródła danych. Dynamika wkładu MSP w okresie 2006-2010 w gospodarkę powiatu nowosądeckiego ogólnie przejawiała tendencję rosnącą. Do silnych stron tego sektora w powiecie należą na przykład: wykwalifikowana kadra, elastyczność wobec zmian rynku i konkurencji, tworzenie nowoczesnych produktów i usług, wywieranie dużego wpływu na rozwój powiatu. Słabe strony MSP na Sądecczyźnie to mała wiedza z dziedziny marketingu, prowadzenie działalności na małą skalę, a co za tym idzie relatywnie niski udział w rynku. Do szans w otoczeniu MSP należą park technologiczny, obecność instytucji otoczenia biznesu, rozwój branży turystycznej, kooperacja z innymi przedsiębiorstwami, zaś zagrożenia stanowią wzrost stóp procentowych, pojawienie się nowych konkurentów krajowych lub zagranicznych, niełatwa współpraca z administracja publiczną. MSP w analizowanych dokumentach strategicznych powiatu traktowane są jako stymulator wzrostu konkurencyjności i atrakcyjności gospodarczej. Ich rolą jest ponadto tworzenie nowych miejsc pracy, promocja powiatu, czy też wdrażanie nowatorskich produktów i usług. Dokumenty rozwoju Sądecczyzny odzwierciedlają staranie władz lokalnych, aby wykorzystać silne strony sektora i szanse w otoczeniu oraz niwelować zagrożenia i ograniczać jego słabe strony. | pl |
| dc.description.abstract | The aim of the thesis is to present the role of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the local development and to analyse and evaluate the significance of SMEs in the development of the Nowy Sącz county as well as the importance of this sector in the strategic documents on the county development. The research methods included the analysis of the county records, statistical data and Web pages, as well as a direct, unstructured interview. Primary and secondary sources of data were used. The dynamics of SME input into the county economy of 2006-2010 exhibited an upward trend. The strengths of this sector included for example: qualified staff, flexibility to changes in market and competition, creating a modern products and services, influence on the development of the county. Weaknesses of the county SMEs are limited marketing skills and relatively low market share. The environmental opportunities are represented by the technological park, the presence of the institutions of business environment, the development of the tourism industry, cooperation with other companies. While the threats are the increase in interest rates, the emergence of new competitors in national or foreign markets, difficult cooperation with public administration. In the county strategic documents SMEs are treated as a growth promoter of economic competitiveness and attractiveness. Their role is also creating new jobs, promotion of the county, or implementation of innovative products and services. The strategic documents under research reflect efforts by the local authorities to take advantage of the strengths and opportunities facing the sector and to limit risks and weaknesses. | pl |
