Miniona dekada, tj. lata 2000-2010 to niewątpliwie okres burzliwy, charakteryzujący się
ogromną dynamiką sposobu funkcjonowania społeczeństwa. Rewolucja technologiczna, która
nastąpiła w tym okresie wpłynęła na sposób prowadzenia działalności gospodarczej,
ukształtowała nowe formy płatności, zelektronizowała gospodarkę niemal wszystkich państw.
Chcąc nadążyć za tymi zmianami banki były zmuszone do ciągłego ulepszania swoich usług
oraz świadczeń tak, aby nie zostać wypartym przez rozwijający się rynek. Pociągnęło to za
sobą szereg innowacyjnych rozwiązań. Głównym celem autora niniejszej pracy jest
dokonanie analizy zmian, które zaszły w świadczeniu usług bankowych w ostatniej dekadzie.
W ramach metodycznych zagadnień pracy autor postawił hipotezy badawcze oraz dokonał
próby ich potwierdzenia, wykorzystuj!c do tego celu badania marketingowe oraz techniki
Web Research i Desk Research.
The past decade, namely the years 2000-2010 is undoubtedly a turbulent period, characterized by huge developments in the functioning of society. The technological revolution that occurred during this period formed a new form of payment, changed the way how businesses are ran and made economy of almost all countries extremely electronics dependant. To keep pace with these changes, banks were forced to constantly improve their services so as not to be driven out of business. This led to a number of innovative solutions. The main aim of this paper is to analyze the changes that have occurred in the banking sector in the last decade. Particular emphasis was placed on the provided services. The author formulated research hypotheses and made attempts to verify them using various tools such as marketing research or Web Research and Desk Research techniques.
