Inteligencja emocjonalna i prężność a zjawisko wtórnej traumy wśród interwentów kryzysowych na infoliniach pomocowych

| dc.description.abstract | Zależność konsekwencji wtórnej traumatyzacji, czyli zastępczego wzrostu potraumatycznego oraz wtórnego stresu pourazowego, od czynników jak prężność czy inteligencja emocjonalna, wśród osób świadczących wsparcie psychologiczne w kryzysie, jest istotnym aspektem w kontekście dobrostanu psychicznego specjalistów. Badanie zostało przeprowadzone na grupie 100 dorosłych osób pracujących w Polse w ramach infolinii pomocowych dla osób w kryzysie psychicznym, a przeprowadzono je z wykorzystaniem Kwestionariusza Inteligencji Emocjonalnej INTE, Skali Pomiaru Prężności SPP-25, Inwentarza Wtórnego Stresu Traumatycznego IWST oraz Inwentarza Potraumatycznego Wzrostu PTGI-wersji skróconej. Analiza zebranych danych wykazała istotne statystycznie ujemne zależności pomiędzy poziomem inteligencji emocjonalnej a poziomem STS oraz pomiędzy poziomem prężności psychicznej a poziomem STS, co potwierdziło predykcyjny i chroniący charakter tych czynników w kontekście STS. Równocześnie wykazano dodatnią, istotną statystycznie, zależność pomiędzy poziomem prężności a poziomem VPTG oraz dodatnią korelację pomiędzy inteligencją emocjonalną a VPTG. Określono także poziom VPTG i STS wśród badanej grupy zawodowej, co poszerzyło pulę zbadanych dotychczas grup zawodowych profesjonalistów zdrowia psychicznego. Wyniki wskazały na konieczność dalszych badań, aby lepiej poznać mechanizmy VPTG i STS oraz czynniki je wzmacniające i osłabiające. | pl |
| dc.description.abstract | The relationship between the consequences of secondary traumatization, i.e., vicarious posttraumatic growth and secondary posttraumatic stress, and factors such as resilience and emotional intelligence among those providing psychological support during crisis is an important aspect of the mental well-being of professionals. The study was conducted on a group of 100 adults working in Poland as part of a helpline for individuals experiencing mental health crises. The study utilized the Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire (INTE), the Resilience Measurement Scale (SPP-25), the Secondary Traumatic Stress Inventory (IWST), and the Posttraumatic Growth Inventory (PTGI)—short version. Analysis of the collected data revealed statistically significant negative correlations between emotional intelligence and STS, as well as between psychological resilience and STS, confirming the predictive and protective nature of these factors in the context of STS. At the same time, a positive, statistically significant relationship was demonstrated between resilience levels and VPTG levels, as well as a positive correlation between emotional intelligence and VPTG. The levels of VPTG and STS were also determined among the studied professional group, expanding the pool of professional groups of mental health professionals studied to date. The results indicated the need for further research to better understand the mechanisms of VPTG and STS, as well as the factors that strengthen and weaken them. | en |
