Abstrakt
Regional programming methods are fast developing area of interests in
Poland. Both, policy decision makers and economists aim to improve the
methodology of constructing the best development strategies and operational
programmes.
The aim of the paper is to show the potential of shift – share analysis, a
tool used in examining the regional economic structure, in strengthening
the diagnosis in programming documents. The empirical part of the article is
based on the Małopolskie voivodship case.
