Poziom inteligencji emocjonalnej i satysfakcji z życia u osób uzdolnionych muzycznie
Abstrakt
Celem niniejszej pracy magisterskiej była analiza powiązań między poziomem inteligencji emocjonalnej a subiektywnym poczuciem satysfakcji z życia u osób uzdolnionych muzycznie. Badanymi osobami byli muzycy.
The aim of this Master's thesis was to analyze the links between emotional intelligence and subjective life satisfaction in musically gifted individuals. The sample consisted of 60 musicians (40 women and 20 men aged 18–54). The study allowed for an in-depth diagnosis of cognitive-affective resources and well-being in this unique group, enabling the verification of research hypotheses. The empirical findings indicate that advanced artistic activity co-occurs with a highly developed psychological profile, with a clear predominance of high life satisfaction and emotional competencies. A strong positive correlation was found between general emotional intelligence and life satisfaction. Notably, the ability to utilize emotions in action was a statistically significant predictor of satisfaction; constructively transforming emotional states into the creative process enhances musicians' sense of agency and global well-being. Conversely, external career parameters—such as experience length or performance frequency—did not correlate with emotional intelligence or life satisfaction. Similarly, gender and specialization analysis revealed no significant differences.
