Postawy społeczne wobec osób z niepełnosprawnością fizyczną a perspektywa temporalna i cechy osobowości u dorosłych

Abstract

Postawy społeczne wobec osób z niepełnosprawnością fizyczną stanowią ważny obszar badań psychologicznych, ponieważ mogą wpływać na poziom akceptacji, integracji oraz uczestnictwa tej grupy w życiu społecznym. Celem pracy było określenie, czy emocjonalny, poznawczy i behawioralny komponent postaw wobec osób z omawianą niepełnosprawnością pozostaje w związku z perspektywą temporalną oraz cechami osobowości, a badanie przeprowadzono metodą internetowego sondażu diagnostycznego w grupie 103 respondentów, z wykorzystaniem narzędzi PL-MAS, ZTPI-15 oraz TIPI-PL. Wyniki wykazały, że wraz z wiekiem wzrastał poziom pozytywnych postaw we wszystkich trzech komponentach. Nie stwierdzono istotnych różnic w postawach ze względu na płeć i wykształcenie, natomiast intensywność kontaktu z osobami z niepełnosprawnością fizyczną różnicowała przede wszystkim komponent poznawczy postaw. Bardziej pozytywne postawy, szczególnie w wymiarze poznawczym, współwystępowały z niższą neurotycznością, wyższą ekstrawersją, ugodowością i sumiennością oraz bardziej pozytywnym i przyszłościowym odnoszeniem się do czasu. Uzyskane rezultaty wskazują, iż postawy wobec osób z niepełnosprawnością fizyczną należy interpretować wieloczynnikowo, uwzględniając zarówno cechy osobowości, perspektywę temporalną, jak i doświadczenia kontaktu społecznego.

Social attitudes toward people with physical disabilities constitute an important area of psychological research, as they may influence the level of acceptance, integration, and participation of this group in social life. The aim of this study was to determine whether the emotional, cognitive, and behavioral components of attitudes toward people with physical disabilities are related to temporal perspective and personality traits. The study was conducted using an online diagnostic survey among 103 respondents, with the use of the PL-MAS, ZTPI-15, and TIPI-PL instruments. The results showed that the level of positive attitudes increased with age across all three components. No significant differences in attitudes were found in relation to gender or education, whereas the intensity of contact with people with physical disabilities primarily differentiated the cognitive component of attitudes. More positive attitudes, particularly in the cognitive dimension, were associated with lower neuroticism, higher extraversion, agreeableness, and conscientiousness, as well as a more positive and future-oriented temporal perspective. The obtained results indicate that attitudes toward people with physical disabilities should be interpreted in a multifactorial manner, taking into account personality traits, temporal perspective, and experiences of social contact.
