Badanie będzie miało charakter ilościowy i zostanie przeprowadzone metodą ankietową z wykorzystaniem standaryzowanych kwestionariuszy mierzących poziom samotności oraz problematyczne korzystanie z mediów społecznościowych. Uzyskane dane zostaną poddane analizie statystycznej, obejmującej analizę korelacji i regresji.
The aim of this thesis is to examine the relationship between loneliness and problematic social media use. Social media play a significant role in the everyday functioning of young adults; however, excessive use may be associated with negative psychological and social consequences. Previous research suggests that loneliness may constitute one of the factors contributing to compensatory and problematic use of social media platforms. The study will adopt a quantitative research design and will be conducted using standardised questionnaires measuring levels of loneliness and problematic social media use. The collected data will be analysed statistically using correlation and regression analyses. It is expected that higher levels of loneliness will be associated with greater intensity of problematic social media use.
