QEEG pełni głównie funkcję diagnostyczno-planistyczną i monitorującą.
The thesis concerns the application of Biofeedback, QEEG, HRV-Biofeedback and tDCS as methods supporting the treatment of selected mental and neurodevelopmental disorders. Its aim was to organize current scientific knowledge on the effectiveness, safety and limitations of these methods and to define their role in work with people experiencing PTSD, depression, anxiety disorders, ADHD, psychosomatic symptoms, eating disorders and chronic stress. The thesis is a literature review with elements of a systematic review and narrative synthesis, supplemented by three case studies. Scientific publications, QEEG results, HRV measurements, Biofeedback training reports and short self-report scales were analyzed. The collected data indicate that Neurofeedback may support the regulation of attention and arousal, HRV-Biofeedback may help reduce tension and stress-related symptoms, while tDCS may support modulation of prefrontal brain areas associated with mood and executive functions. QEEG mainly serves a diagnostic, planning and monitoring function. The case studies show a practical way of documenting changes and the need to combine measurement results with clinical assessment. The conclusions indicate that these methods should not replace standard treatment, but may be a valuable complement to the therapeutic process.
