Badanie empiryczne miało charakter ilościowy i zostało przeprowadzone wśród 100 rodziców uczestniczących w warsztatach Pozytywnej Dyscypliny, z wykorzystaniem standaryzowanych narzędzi psychologicznych oraz autorskiego kwestionariusza dotyczącego postaw rodzicielskich.
The aim of this master’s thesis is to analyze parental attitudes based on the principles of Positive Discipline and their relationship with parents’ emotional reactivity in challenging parenting situations. The empirical study was quantitative in nature and was conducted among 100 parents participating in Positive Discipline workshops, using standardized psychological instruments and an original questionnaire assessing parental attitudes. The research was based on the assumption that parental beliefs and attitudes toward the parent–child relationship are associated with emotional regulation in difficult educational contexts. The results indicate that parents who present attitudes consistent with the principles of Positive Discipline show lower levels of emotional reactivity and a greater tendency to apply strategies based on empathy, cooperation, and reflection on their own emotional experiences. The findings suggest that Positive Discipline may serve as an important resource supporting parents’ emotional competences and adaptive functioning in stressful situations. The conclusions emphasize the role of conscious and reflective parenting and point to the need for further research on factors that promote emotional regulation in the parenting process.
