The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between self-esteem, self-efficacy, and sport participation among adults involved in sport at varying levels of participation. The study employed the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (SES), the General Self-Efficacy Scale (GSES), and an author-designed questionnaire concerning sport participation. The research was conducted in early 2026 among physically active individuals from the Lublin Voivodeship. The results revealed an average level of self-esteem and a high level of self-efficacy among the participants. No significant associations were found between the level of sports involvement and either self-esteem or self-efficacy. Similarly, the frequency of sports activity was not significantly related to self-esteem. In contrast, a weak yet statistically significant positive association was observed between the weekly frequency of sports activity and self-efficacy. Additionally, a positive relationship was identified between the perceived impact of sports activity on self-efficacy and GSES scores, while no comparable relationship was found for self-esteem.
