Satysfakcja z życia i poczucie spełnienia życiowego u matek dzieci w wieku przedszkolnym – uwarunkowania psychospołeczne i analiza zależności.
Badaniem objęto 100 kobiet będących matkami dzieci uczęszczających do przedszkola. Badania przeprowadzono podczas zebrań z rodzicami w placówkach przedszkolnych. Uzyskane wyniki wykazały istotną dodatnią zależność między satysfakcją z życia a poczuciem sensu życia. Oznacza to, że wyższemu poziomowi satysfakcji z życia towarzyszył wyższy poziom poczucia sensu życia. Spośród analizowanych zmiennych socjodemograficznych jedynie aktywność zawodowa różnicowała poziom poczucia sensu życia badanych kobiet. Wyniki badań podkreślają znaczenie zasobów psychologicznych związanych z poczuciem sensu życia dla dobrostanu kobiet pełniących rolę matki dziecka w okresie wczesnego dzieciństwa.
The aim of this study was to examine the relationship between life satisfaction and the sense of life fulfillment among mothers of preschool children. Additionally, the study analyzed whether selected sociodemographic factors, such as employment status, marital status, number of children, and mothers’ age, differentiate the level of the examined variables. The main research problem concerned determining whether there is a relationship between life satisfaction and the sense of meaning and fulfillment in women raising preschool children. An attempt was also made to establish whether professional activity and other sociodemographic variables influence the psychological well-being of the participants. The study used the diagnostic survey method. The following research tools were applied: the Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS), the Purpose in Life Test (PIL), and a self-designed questionnaire containing questions related to the respondents’ sociodemographic situation. These tools made it possible to assess the level of life satisfaction and sense of meaning in life among the surveyed mothers. The study involved 100 women who were mothers of preschool children. The research was conducted during parent meetings in preschool institutions. The obtained results indicated a strong positive relationship between life satisfaction and the sense of life fulfillment. Among the analyzed sociodemographic variables, only employment status differentiated the level of sense of meaning in life among the participants.
