Samotne rodzicielstwo wiąże się z podwyższonym poziomem stresu wynikającym z przeciążenia rolami, presji finansowej oraz ograniczonego wsparcia społecznego. Długotrwały stres może negatywnie wpływać na zdrowie psychiczne. Celem pracy było zbadanie kluczowych zależności między stresem, stylami radzenia sobie ze stresem a satysfakcją z życia samotnych rodziców. W badaniu zastosowano standaryzowane narzędzia psychometryczne, tj. Kwestionariusz PSS 10, Mini-COPE oraz SWLS.które umożliwiły ocenę odczuwanego stresu oraz używanych strategii radzenia sobie z nim jak również satysfakcję z życia. Badaniem objęto 100 samotnych rodziców. Badanie potwierdziło, iż wysoki poziom stresu wpływa na satysfakcję z życia samotnych rodziców.
Single parenthood comes with increased workload, providing role control, financial pressure, and protective social support. Long-term stress can impact mental health. The aim of this study was to examine the effects of stress, stress-related styles, and life satisfaction among single parents. Standard psychometric tools, such as the PSS-10 Questionnaire, Mini-COPE, and SWLS, were included, which allowed for the assessment of stress and its side effects, as well as lifelong distress. The study included 100 single parents. The study was validated and demonstrated a high level of impact on single parents' lives.
