Warunki robotyzacji procesu lakierniczego w firmie Metalex
Dodatkowo badania diagnozujące gotowość społeczną organizacji wykazały brak istotnego oporu przed nowymi technologiami oraz silną motywację kadry operacyjnej do podnoszenia kwalifikacji w kierunku obsługi układów zrobotyzowanych.
The main objective of this study was a multidimensional assessment of the technological, organizational, and social feasibility of automating the powder coating process at the Metalex enterprise. The theoretical part discusses automation and robotization within the framework of Industry 4.0 and Industry 5.0 concepts, with particular emphasis on the evolving role of employees in a modern manufacturing environment. The empirical research is based on a methodological triangulation strategy, encompassing the analysis of performance indicators, direct process observation, and a survey of staff attitudes. The diagnosis of the current state revealed that the manual coating process constitutes a bottleneck in production line efficiency and is associated with high physical and mental strain on operators exposed to hazardous working conditions. In response to the identified problems, the implementation of a robotic workstation based on a six-axis manipulator integrated with an additional wall-mounted linear track was proposed, enabling the efficient processing of large-scale components without disrupting internal logistics. Economic analysis confirmed that the project is characterized by high operational profitability, generating measurable material and time savings with a relatively short return on investment period. Furthermore, research diagnosing the organization's social readiness demonstrated a lack of significant resistance to new technologies and a strong motivation among the operational staff to upgrade their skills toward operating robotic systems.
