Abstrakt
The main goal of this presentation is to present the challenges that non-governmental organizations face in regards to globalization. First a classification of multiple Polish non-profit organizations and the fields they have been working within between 1989 and 2006 is presented. In the further the attempt to answer for the following question: Do non-governmental organizations slow the globalization process, or are they responsible
for mitigating some of the purported negative results? was done. At the end of
the paper the impact that non-profit organizations have on the development of
globalization and fragmentation was estimated.
