This master's thesis addresses the timely topic of digital transformation, focusing on the analysis of generational differences in the perception of artificial intelligence (AI) impact on the modern labor market and individual career paths. The primary research objective is to identify and compare the attitudes of various generations—from Baby Boomers to Generation Z—towards the advancing automation and algorithmization of professional processes. The theoretical part characterizes AI systems and the specific features of individual age cohorts, taking into account their unique values and digital competence levels. The empirical section is based on the analysis of original research findings, aimed at determining whether artificial intelligence is perceived as a collaborative tool (complementarity) or rather as a threat and a rival in the competition for jobs (substitution). The analysis covers the respondents' level of technological awareness, their readiness for reskilling, and their main concerns regarding the loss of professional stability. The research results allow for the formulation of conclusions concerning the diversity of adaptive strategies and the identification of areas requiring organizational support. The thesis concludes with recommendations aimed at building intergenerational synergy and the effective implementation of AI-based solutions in the workplace, while simultaneously minimizing technological anxiety among employees.en
